Relationship Resiliency
Regardless of what storm we may be experiencing, we were created for relationships!
As human beings, we were created for relationships. Being in isolation is not usually how families cooperate, organizations operate, and people flourish. We long to have social outlets and work in creative spaces acknowledging that some enjoy more time with people than others. My point is we need each other.
A Harvard study found that 85% of professional success comes from people skills. Having those trusted, developed relationships. During this time of coronavirus, you might find it hard to deal with all that is going on in the world and how to maintain and/or grow your business relationships. It is an unprecedented environment none of us asked for and really don’t know how to navigate. Now is your time to be creative and reinvent your business around a new normal. What should you stop doing, keep doing, and how can you adjust? Keep in touch with clients and take advantage of this opportunity to re-evaluate your business plan and it’s relevancy to today’s world. Do you have the resources to sustain the storm? We want all businesses to make it and our economy to survive. Make sure you have a business plan it is the blueprint to guide you through the storm.
The truth is after this pandemic, none of us will be the same.
For all of us we must remember, we are not alone! Isolation does not have to be seclusion. We can discover new options for social distancing and social engagement both personally and professionally. Please don’t go through this alone. It is not what we are accustomed to and certainly not how we are hard wired for doing life.
